Rumours of a Nikon D750 replacement, which won’t be called the D760, but either the D770, D780 or D790 (the current favourite seems to be D780), have been around for a few weeks now, and the camera itself may be officially announced as early as next week, a report suggests. Nikon Rumours believes we might hear an official announcement and say they have an unconfirmed date for January 7th, 2020. That would be the start of CES....
Well, it turns out that Canon is making their own sensor for the Canon EOS R3 after all. After a wording change on various Canon websites last month suggested that it was designed by them but manufactured by somebody else – possibly Sony – Canon has done something they almost never do. They’ve publicly addressed a rumour. As well as the wording change, an interview with Canon Russia’s Head of Product and Consumer Expertise, Andrey Tischenko by Russian photography website PhotoWebExpo points out that the first Canon camera to contain a stacked sensor was the G7X Mark III – which contains a Sony sensor....
Earlier this month, GQ magazine published an article about a group of tech titans who visited Brunello Cucinelli’s Italian village. The photo following the article showed fifteen men and two women from Silicon Valley. But something about the photo looked off. And indeed, it was – there were actually no women in it, they were Photoshopped in before the photo was published.Advertisements The photo first appeared on Brunello Cucinelli’s Instagram, and it was later used as the lead image for GQ’s article....
Now, steady yourself, this might come as a bit of a shock. Olympus have now officially killed the Four Thirds camera system. Ok, so perhaps it’s not really that much of a surprise. It’s more than six years since the last new Four Thirds camera, so we all knew it was probably coming. DPReview reports that the news comes as four-thirds.org releases its latest lens catalogue. The system was initially developed by Olympus along with Kodak, as a new lens format for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras and introduced in 2003....
