I really have no idea how I feel about this thing. This is the GimbalGun. It looks like something you’d use to take tanks out, but it’s actually a support system designed for use with single-handed gimbals to give you even more stability. It’s not available just yet, but it’s coming to Kickstarter soon. Essentially it’s a long metal box with a bunch of 1/4-20″ holes for connecting devices. After the success of their campaign for the 50mm f/1.8 1.33x Anamorphic lens, Sirui has taken to Indiegogo again to launch their new 35mm f/1.8 1.33x Anamorphic lens. The campaign has gone live today with pledges starting at just $599 to get one of these low-budget anamorphic lenses of your own. Sirui has taken an interesting approach with the 35mm f/1.8 1.33x Anamorphic lens, in only (so far, at least). It is an APS-C (Super 35mm) lens, but they’re releasing it only for the Micro Four Thirds mount....

I’m going to open this post with a very subjective, but completely honest, opinion. The Zhiyun Crane 2S (first look review here) instantly became my favourite gimbal as soon as I took it out of the box. Ever. That’s it. Review over. Ok, not really review over, but it really has become my new go-to gimbal for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras.
