Colorization of old images is a topic of discussion among historians, photographers, and retouchers. Some love it, some hate it, but it seems to me that no person is indifferent about it. There are a lot of reasons why one might want to have the sensor in their camera modified. We see it all the time for those who wish to shoot infrared or ultraviolet photography. Robots are taking over our lives. It’s been the plot of many a science fiction novel or movie for some time, but the reality is becoming ever more present. Researchers at Cornell University have successfully ‘taught’ a robot the rules of composition and aesthetics.
