But just this last week, The Cumbre Volcano in La Palma in the Canary Islands decided to join the action. Minimalist Photography Awards has just announced the winners of its 2022 contest. For the fourth year in a row, the competition celebrates the beauty of simplicity. And this year, the overall winner is Daniel Dencescu from Germany with his mesmerizing series showing murmurations of starlings. If you’ve ever watched murmurations, you know that it’s an absolutely magical experience. Watching a huge flock of starlings change its shape and form as if the birds are dancing simply makes you stop and stare in awe....
The advisory board for Meta has informed Facebook and Instagram that they need to reverse their policy of censorship of bare breasts on the platforms. Previously, what were perceived to be female nipples were automatically banned by the social media apps. The advisory board, however, responded by saying that the policy impedes the right to expression for women, trans and nonbinary people. The decision was made on January 17th, 2023 by the board, which is comprised of a mix of academics, politicians, and journalists....
