The listings popped up on the website of Canadian retailer, Strobepro. There are listings available for the XPro II-N for Nikon, XPro II-C for Canon, and XPro II-S for Sony cameras. Each carries a price tag of CAD$122.95. Oddly, that’s even cheaper than the $129 XPro II-L for Leica that’s been out for seven months. The listings don’t appear to be a mistake or somebody jumping the gun as Strobepro put together an hour-long video going over the features and capabilities of the XPro II trigger, the differences between the XPro II and the original XPro trigger, with parts of the video even having it mounted to a Nikon DSLR....

It appears that Google Photos is having a bit of a moment. It seems that it’s corrupting some older images stored on the service dating from 2013 to 2015, according to reports from users. The phenomenon shows up as what looks like digital tears (as in rips through the image, not liquid that comes from your eyes) across the image, as you can see in examples posted to the Google support forums....

My philosophy when it comes to photography is not to avoid making mistakes, but to welcome every mistake as it happens. Our children learn the hard way. We as parents moralize and issue warnings but to no avail. They have to learn for themselves. Parents try so hard to shield their kids from the very pains they had suffered as kids, but the lessons of life just aren’t learned that way....

As a photographer, I am bombarded by individuals experiences of how they have been affected by the outbreak of COVID-19. It doesn’t seem to matter where I look it’s everywhere. My Facebook feed is full of questions being asked by a host of photographers, along with the usual questions about what to do when you have lost your ‘Mo-Jo’. Instagram is full of images of times when things were different, old images used to make people look like they are still busy (don’t let them fool you, everyone is in lockdown so photographers are not busy at the moment)....
