Getting the effect in-camera, though, is often extremely tricky, if not impossible to do. So, we have to resort to Photoshop. Canon’s EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II announcement is expected to happen quite soon. Rumour has it that this lens will be the first to feature its own built in LCD display. Up until now, nobody’s really known what for. Digicame-info, however, seem to have stumbled across a couple of patents which show what information may appear on the LCD. Set to replace the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM released in 2005, the new lens should carry all the usual updates we see with new lens announcements....

When we think of drones, we usually think of ones that can fly, but there are quite a few out there that don’t quite fit this description. One such drone is the T1 Pro from underwater robotics company, Geninnoi. Equipped with a 12-megapixel 1/2.3″ Sony CMOS sensor, this underwater drone can dive to a depth of up to 574 feet. Although it features a fairly capable camera, it’s not really designed for photography and video....

Scientists have recently confirmed that there’s a massive black hole at the center of our galaxy, named Sagittarius A*. European Southern Observatory (ESO) has released a stunning video that zooms in all the way to the black hole. And while it’s kinda scary to watch it – it’s also hard to stop. ESO used the GRAVITY instrument on the Very Large Telescope (VLT) Interferometer to observe flares of infrared radiation coming from the accretion disc around Sagittarius A....
