It was just days ago that Nikon announced closing their factory in China. Today, a new announcement about shutting down comes from Nikon, this time in Brazil. The company has announce the closing of all e-commerce operations in Brazil. This means Brazil customers will no longer be able to buy any Nikon gear in their country, and the only option will be buying in the gray market. The announcement was made on the first page of Nikon Brazil’s website....

It feels like forever since Nikon announced their newest flagship DSLR; the Nikon D6. It’s actually only been three months, but that hasn’t stopped some people getting anxious. Recently, customers were being told that the D6 would start shipping right about now, but now Nikon has officially come out to announce that the Nikon D6 will start shipping on May 21st. Well, this is a bit of a surprise. Popular filter maker NiSi is getting into the cinema lens market. Kicking off the launch, they’re introducing five brand new cinema lenses ranging from 25mm to 100mm (with a possible sixth 18mm lens on the way). Reckless drone flying in the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve ended up with a catastrophe. A crash of two drones terrified elegant terns who were nesting nearby. As a consequence, they fled in terror leaving over 1,500 eggs behind. The aftermath of the drone crashes is seen in heartbreaking photos Bolsa Chica Conservancy shared on Twitter. In a statement, they wrote that thousands of elegant terns were lost due to the drone crash....
