Last Friday, Pakistani official Shaukat Yousafzai addressed the public in a press conference which was live streamed on Facebook. It wouldn’t have been anything unordinary if his face hadn’t been modified with the “cat filter.” During the live stream, the politician appeared with digital cat ears, whiskers and rosy cheeks, which turned the press conference into a sort of comedy. According to the BBC, the video was posted to the official Facebook page of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party....

Apple has announced “supercharged” versions of its M1 processor. Perhaps not surprisingly, they’re called the M1 Pro and M1 Max. Apple says they’re the first Apple Silicon chips designed specifically for professionals with “groundbreaking performance” and “amazing battery life”. Apple claims that the new MacBook Pro models offer up to 13x faster graphics performance, 3.7x faster CPU performance, 11x faster machine learning and 21 hours of battery life. The specs seem significantly upgraded over the original M1, and the memory limit has finally been increased....

Rapper Cardi B recently got herself in legal trouble that broke the internet. On Halloween, she published photos of herself dressed like Marge Simpson in an iconic Thierry Mugler dress. But as it turned out, the photo was inspired by work from another artist. And no, it’s not (just) Matt Groening. The artist is now filing a lawsuit against both Cardi B and her photographer, and the whole case has reached the level of ridiculousness when it just becomes amazing....
