CES 2017 may over, but the gear and technology announced over the weekend is still in the news. For Razer, though, CES 2017 appears to have been something of a bittersweet event. Let’s start with the good news. Razer introduced the world to Project Valerie, the world’s first triple 4K display laptop. And oh boy does it look sexy. With a company like Razer, you know it’s primarily intended for gamers....
Well, this is something you don’t see every day. Journalist Tori Yorgey was reporting from Dunbar, W. VA. for local news channel WSAZ when she was hit live on-air by a vehicle passing behind her. She was covering a water main break caused by bad weather that brought with it plenty of snow and ice and while getting ready to answer a question from the news anchor Tim Irr, a light coloured truck turned into her as it came to pass behind her....
If you needed more proof that the world was going nuts, it seems that Samsung is working on 600-megapixel sensors. In an editorial post on the Samsung website, Yongin Park, Head of Sensor Business Team stated they’re prepared to “ride the next wave” of tech innovation, and is determined to produce sensors with higher resolution than the human eye. In just the past couple of years, we’ve already seen smartphone sensors make what seemed at the time to be a ridiculous leap to 64-megapixels, followed up very quickly by 108-megapixels, and a 150-megapixel 1″ Samsung sensor was rumoured to be in the works just last month....
It appears Samsung is having exploding phone issues again, although it’s not the battery this time, but the camera. US-based attorneys at Hagens Berman have filed a class-action lawsuit against Samsung over defective Samsung Galaxy S20 devices that experience the camera glass shattering unexpectedly during what they describe as normal use. The lawsuit was filed on April 27th in the US District Court of the District of New Jersey and accuses Samsung of fraud, breach of warranty and violations of a number of consumer-protection laws....
