Sekonic Announces Godox And Broncolor Modules For The L 858D Coming In November

It looks like Sekonic is making good on their promise from July, they’ve now announced that the Godox module for the Sekonic L-858D light meters is coming. They’ve also announced a new L-858D module for Broncolor lights, too. Calm down, though, you can’t get them just quite yet. They’re not being released until November. But at least now we have a solid release date. The Godox module sits inside your L-858D (or L-858D-U) meter to provide a “fully integrated light metering workflow to Godox users”, according to Sekonic general manager Kenji Sawai....

Sigma Releases Photoshop Plugin To Add X3F Raw Import

Sigma has announced a new plugin which adds X3F import support into Adobe Photoshop CC. Sigma camera users have been mostly limited to using Sigma’s own Sigma Photo Pro software to process their camera’s X3F raw files. A few cameras are supported natively by Adobe Camera RAW, but their recent cameras are not. Now, though, you can bypass the (rather sluggish) Sigma processing software and bring your X3F files straight into Photoshop....
