Perhaps you remember Iranian photographer Alireza Rostami for some of his epic projects. He has turned an old watch and a broken computer into working cameras, and now he has made two film cameras from 35mm film cassettes. One of them is a 4×5 camera with 120film back, and the other is a medium format camera. They don’t only look interesting, but pay a perfect homage to film photography many of us still love and shoot....

Not for Mike Kelley, though, oh no. He camped out at some of the busiest airports in the world to photograph planes all day long as they took off and landed. These shots were then composited to create some of the most amazing commercial airline images you’ve ever seen....
Earlier this year, New Carlisle News photographer Andy Grimm was shot because of his camera. Clark County deputy Jake Shaw confused Grimm’s camera and tripod for a gun and reportedly shot him without warning. The photographer has now decided to file a lawsuit against Shaw, seeking over $75,000 in damages. The shooting happened when Grimm encountered a traffic stop and pulled over to take photos. Reports say that Deputy Shaw confused the camera and tripod for a gun, and shot Grimm twice without warning....
Now this is an idea I think we can all get behind. Anything that keeps us charged faster and for longer while out shooting can’t be bad. So, imagine being able to go out and shoot as much as you want for as long as you want without having to worry about your battery life at all. And if it does run out, you can recharge it in just a few seconds....
