DJI have announced the world’s first Super 35mm digital camera designed specifically for aerial cinematography. The Zenmuse X7. It shoots 6K CinemaDNG raw video at up to 30fp. The X7 also features a new DJI Cinema Color System to maximise its 14 stops of dynamic range. For aerial photographers, it’s also capable of capturing 24 megapixel RAW stills. Super 35mm means it’s an APS-C sized sensor. Currently, it’s only compatible with the DJI Inspire 2 drone, although future compatibility with other products is expected in the future....

DxO has announced a big addition to its Optics Modules for its raw processing software, including DxO PhotoLab, PureRAW, FilmPack and Viewpoint. This new update brings the total number of camera and lens combinations DxO software supports, collected over the past 20 years, up to over 80,000 different setups. The latest update adds automatic correction support for images shot with the Canon EOS R6 Mark II, Sony A7R V, Fujifilm X-T5 and the OM System OM-5 with a whole array of existing lenses in the database, along with the addition of several Sigma and Tokina lenses for a wide range of mirrorless cameras....

I’m sure that most of us agree that each dog has its own personality. If you ask me, I love it when photographers manage to capture those animal personalities in photos. German photographer Elke Vogelsang does it, but she brings out the funny side of her four-legged models. Her dog portraits are adorable, fun, and as goofy as it gets. If they don’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what will....

An LA man who pretended to be an Apple employee accessed 4,700 iCloud accounts and stole 620,000 photos. Along with his co-conspirators, he would search for nudes which he would then share with them. There were reportedly more than 300 victims, most of them being young women. Hao Kuo “David” Chi (40) of La Puente ended up in court over the scam that was first revealed back in 2018. He even marketed himself and offered his services of breaking into iCloud accounts to steal photos and videos, using a moniker “icloudripper4you....
