July is turning out to be a potentially exciting month in the full-frame mirrorless world. Sony is finally expected to announce the A7S III, Canon will be announcing both the EOS R5 and EOS R6 bodies, and Nikon seems set to announce a new Z5 mirrorless camera. But that’s not all. Sony is also getting ready to announce the 14-24mm f/2.8 GM, Canon is expected to announce a bunch of new glass for their RF system and now Nikon Rumors reports that three new Z Mount lenses are to be announced alongside the Z5 at some point this month, possibly on or around July 21st....

The black panther has been one of the most iconic creatures the world has ever known. They have such beauty and power, yet are extremely rare to find in the natural world. There had been rumours that at least one was living in the Laikipia region of Kenya, but without any high-quality footage or photographs, confirming their existence was impossible. This led British wildlife photographer, Will Burrard-Lucas on a mission to Africa, to finally capture the majestic big cat on camera in Laikipia Wilderness Camp....

After recently talking to the folks at Olympus about their plans, they’ve also been speaking to Panasonic’s Director of Imaging Business Division, Yosuke, Yamane, about their plans for the format, too. It’s been a while since we’ve really heard anything new from Panasonic about the Micro Four Thirds system since they announced the L Mount Alliance with Leica and Sigma at Photokina 2018....

Phase One has today announced their new IQ4 camera system; Successor to its already very impressive IQ3 camera system. The IQ4 is built on Phase One’s new “Infinity Platform”, the basis for which was introduced with the XF camera body in 2015. Essentially a modular system, allowing you to upgrade different components as necessary. The new IQ4 series comes with three cameras, the XF IQ4 150MP camera, the IQ4 150MP Achromatic and the IQ4 100MP Trichromatic, each offering their own distinct advantages....

We all have a shoebox or an album filled with old photos, slides, or negatives. Browsing through them brings back the memories and makes us relive them. Photographer Catherine Panebianco incorporated these old memories into new ones. She used her father’s old slides and incorporated them into new photos, creating visually interesting, but also deeply nostalgic images. Catherine named the series No Memory is Ever Alone, and she describes it as a visual conversation between her dad and herself....
