It’s been a while since we heard about the Funleader 18mm f/8.0 cap lens. Launched last October through a well-backed Kickstarter campaign, this wide angle lens essentially just looks like a body cap for your camera. But it’s actually, as you might have guessed, an 18mm wide-angle lens. Well, now the lenses have gone out to all of the Kickstarter backers and now it’s on general sale. Not only that, but as well as the original Sony E and Leica L mount flavours, it’s now also available for Nikon Z, Canon RF and Fuji X mounts, too....

It seems like a dream come true, but it can be a real challenge to photograph people in a country new to you and in a different culture. There are so many nuances to keep in mind and many potential misunderstandings. Belgian photographer Eric Lafforgue travels the world and captures inspiring stories about people. In 2008, he photographed North Korea for the first time and revisited this country five more times afterward. He took photos of the lesser-known side of North Korea and managed to save the images he would otherwise be forced to delete. After the government discovered he’s been sharing the photos online, he was banned from crossing the North Korean border ever again....

So, just how bright is a 1,000 Watt stadium LED light? Well, Matt Perks wanted to find out, so he got one. And, as it turns out, it’s pretty bright. It’s not every day you get to see something like this up close and personal, and it’s interesting to see how a massive powerful light like this is constructed. Unlike Matt’s previous video on the 500 Watt LED, this 1,000 Watt panel is made from 120 individual LEDs, each with their own lenses to help direct the light forward....

One of the big problems you encounter when moving a camera from dry land to under the water is the difference in the index of refraction (IOR). That’s the thing that often makes rivers and lakes appear much shallower than they actually are when you’re looking at them from the water’s edge.
