Facebook has introduced a new research project that’s impressive and scary at the same time. TextStyleBrush uses AI to recreate your handwriting based on a photo of it, as hinted in its very name. And all it needs is a single word and a single photo of it. TextStyleBrush reminded me of that app by Google Arts & Culture that transfers style from a painting onto your photo. It pretty much does the same thing, only it copies the handwriting style instead of the painting style....

I have been a contributing photographer with Stocksy United for four years now, so I thought I would reflect a little about my time with Stocksy. Back when I was accepted to Stocksy in 2013 (there is a robust application process) my goal for stock photography was to earn a little extra cash to go towards gear and travel by selling photos that I would take anyway – mostly leftover images from commercial gigs and family photos....

It’s happened before that musicians get fed up with people who watch a concert through their smartphones. This time, the frontman of punk-rock band Fidlar, Zac Carper, fought against it. Quite literally. As a fan jumped onstage and tried taking a selfie, Carper slapped the phone right out of her hand, sending it into the crowd. Back in October, we reported that this would be on the way, a new Godox AD600 replacement. Now it seems the rumours were true, although there isn’t been an official announcement. Godox accidentally leaked it early this morning by publishing the new product’s page to their website. That product is the Godox AD600 Pro, and it has a couple of quite significant upgrades over the current model AD600. While the actual 600Ws power consumption doesn’t change, the bulb design could potentially result in almost a stop more power....
