Colorization artist Matt Loughrey recently came under fire for a serious “Photoshop crime.” He shared some of his work with Vice Asia, showing his colorized images of Cambodian genocide victims. But it was soon discovered that he added smiles to them, which caused quite a stir. Vice Asia published an interview with Loughrey on Friday, 9 April. Since it was acquired by SmugMug, Flickr has undergone a bunch of changes. In my opinion, mainly positive ones. The company has now announced another big change – and I’m not sure how to feel about it. From now on, the ability to share restricted and moderate content will be reserved for Flickr Pro members only. In other words, if you share NSFW work that would be banned from other platforms, you’re welcome on Flickr, but only if you pay....

Google Photos has been making some changes lately and adding some new features. Starting today, the app integrates a messaging service. This way, users will have a chat feature right in the app, which should make it faster to share photos and videos with friends.
