Before we bring out photographs into Photoshop they have to go through some kind of raw processor. For many of photographers, that raw processor is Lightroom. But Lightroom doesn’t just have to be for tweaking your exposure and contrast. Adobe’s RAW engine has gotten pretty powerful over the years, and there’s a lot you can do in Lightroom now. In this four-minute video, Tajreen Hedayet talks us through for of the most used portrait processing techniques for Lightroom she uses to help enhance her portraits....

First leaked way back in January, Godox has now finally announced the long-awaited Godox V860III speedlight. As expected, the final specs match up almost exactly with those leaked in April, and it’s available for all of the systems Godox supports, including Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fuji, Olympus/Panasonic and Pentax. The new Godox V860III introduces a new feature for Godox speedlights; a modelling light. It also starts to unify the battery system amongst the Godox lithium-ion powered speedlights by using the same battery as the Godox V1, as well as the quick-release foot....

The GoPro Hero 6 is here. It’s new, it’s shiny, and it’s $100 more expensive than the old one. But is it worth the upgrade? The GoPro Hero 5 was something of a disappointment for many. Fulfilling its promise to release a new line of lenses before the end of 2018, Hasselblad has just announced that the XCD 21mm f/4 is now available for purchase. It’s not often that a behind the scenes or tutorial video goes over the entire process of an image’s creation. Usually, they cover only a specific aspect of it. Often that’s just the gear used, just the lighting set, or just the post work. Great if you want help with a particular element of a shoot, but they don’t really provide the entire picture (no pun intended).
