Well, that beta cycle didn’t last very long! Blackmagic has today announced that DaVinci Resolve for iPad has hit its first official release version. The initial launch of DaVinci Resolve for iPad comes with the Cut Page and the Color Page. This is going to be somewhat disappointing for those who were hoping to see fully-fledged Edit and Fairlight pages. Bear in mind, though, Resolve for the iPad isn’t intended to replace the desktop version but to complement it....

Recently I got to interview, Dennis Dunbar. Dennis is a composite artist and retoucher who says ‘Ever since 1991 I’ve been adding the Photoshop Magic to movie posters and images for ad campaigns. The DJI Spark was announced in July 2017, and many felt it was a little underwhelming, especially since the DJI Mavic Air was announced just six months later in January 2018. Selfie is a phenomenon so frequent in the 21st century that it has inspired quite a few psychological studies so far. The latest one was conducted Washington State University psychologists, comparing people who post selfies and those who post photos taken by someone else. Will it surprise you if I say that the result is not encouraging for frequent selfie posters at all? According to this study, those who frequently post selfies are perceived as being “less likable, less successful, more insecure and less open to new experiences” than those who post photos taken by others....
