Announced in September 2021, the Fujifilm X-T30 II was reported to begin shipping the following month, in October. Apparently, though, this date seemingly got pushed back until January 2021. Well, now January 2021 is here and the Fujifilm X-T30 II is now shipping, with a number of retailers having the camera in stock and ready to send out the door. The Fujifilm X-T30 II is largely the same as the Fujifilm X-T30, however, it does have a couple of hardware changes....

Just after we got done comparing the LitraTorch vs the Lume Cube, Litra announces their next generation of LED action light. The new LitraPro offers the same rugged build as the Torch but raises the bar with full spectrum bi-colour LEDs. Litra is calling the new LitraPro a “new category of compact, rugged, professional lighting” and it does seem to fit the bill. It sits in size between the tiniest of tiny action camera lights and small on-camera LED lights like the Aputure AL-M9....

One would think that a lens hood is a simple and straightforward sort of thing. We’ve all got them for our various lenses to help prevent the sun from flaring into the front element. But flare isn’t the only thing that lens hoods can be good for, as The Ultimate Lens Hood is out to prove. The Ultimate Lens Hood (we’ll call it ULH from now on) is basically a black stretchy silicone cone that goes over the end of your lens....

Whether we like it or not, video has become a part of our everyday lives. We now take it for granted that the ability to shoot good enough quality video resides in our pockets. But shooting stable video is still very difficult to do handheld. That’s where a good stabiliser or gimbal becomes an essential piece of equipment. I was very excited to try out the Zhiyun Smooth-Q4 smartphone stabiliser and see just how good it was....

Ok, this is pretty impressive and also extremely cool. Industrial and interaction designers, Rob Englert and Meyer Giordano have created a very unique lens for, in this case, Nikon F mount that lets you get a full 360° field of view and 180° vertically in a single shot with no stitching required. The pair founded Sphere Optics (aka “(sphere)”). Their first lens is called the (sphere) Pro1, which they describe as “the world’s first and only single-lens 360° full-spherical capture solution”....
