In the era of the internet, it’s not at all uncommon to find your photos used by someone else without your permission. This happened to Edward Kelly of Marlton, New Jersey, who found his selfie used in an ad. On Pornhub. To make things even worse, it seems that the ad has been on the largest pornography website for at least six years. So, when discovering this, Kelly decided to file a lawsuit against Pornhub, seeking more than $3 million in damages and compensation for the use of his photo....

A couple weeks ago I was sitting on the top of a cliff in the dark setting up an eMotimo Spectrum St4 to test out the new gigapixel feature – and I ended up with an unexpected surprise. Due to user error, I photographed a sequence of photos where the Spectrum’s movement was out of sync with the camera shutter – resulting in the Spectrum moving to the next image in the sequence while the shutter was open....

Finding that perfect slider or dolly is a challenge. I’ve got a few of them now, and they all annoy me in slightly different ways, and for different reasons. None of them look quite like this, though. The MUWI is an ultra small, folding dolly for smartphones that packs up about as small as the phone itself. It’s not just for phones, though, it’ll also handle small cameras. Currently funding through Kickstarter, the MUWI has already smashed its $35,000 goal and currently sits at $195,000 with two weeks still left to go on the campaign....
