S6 The New Nisi Filter Holder For Ultra Wide Angle Lenses

The Nisi S6 system is designed for landscape photographers who would like to have a filter system for ultra-wide-angle lenses. Specifically for those without a regular filter thread. The system comes with a rotating CPL (circular polarizer), and it allows the use of two more filters. The S6 is a new iteration of a (similarly named) S5, and it features a few improvements. Sigma has now officially announced the totally-already-leaked Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art series lens for Sigma/Panasonic/Leica L mount and Sony E mount mirrorless cameras. Essentially replacing the 9-year-old Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, Sigma says that the new lens has been redesigned from the ground up, optimised for today’s mirrorless systems. Of course, at the moment that’s only two mirrorless systems. L and E mounts. There’s no word on when or if we can expect this lens to come to Z and RF mounts at some point....

The Iphone 8 Plus Camera Gets The Highest Dxo Score Ever

Another record has been broken on DxO when it comes to smartphone cameras, and the new title-holder is the iPhone 8 Plus. The camera of Apple’s new smartphone scored 94 on DxO test, thus beating Google Pixel and HTC U11. It’s worth noting that DxO has expanded the criteria, so they now test zoom, bokeh, low-light ability and camera in motion, among other things.
