A couple from Canada recently sued a photographer who failed to deliver the photos of their 2015 wedding. The court found the photographer guilty, but also engaged in “deceitful behavior” and “unsavory business practices.” As a result, the court ordered him to pay $22,000 to the couple. Kaman and Ramandeep Rai from Surrey hired Aman Bal to shoot photos and videos of their wedding back in 2015. According to the Vancouver Sun, they had ordered an “$8,500 platinum package....

Have you seen those “Bingo cards” going around Instagram lately. I’ve done one for readers, one for travelers, and Brandon Woelfel now made one for photographers. Despite rumours, Panasonic has said they aren’t quite ready to abandon the Micro Four Thirds mount just yet, and it seems that promise is coming true. Panasonic is preparing to announce a new video-focused BGH1 video camera. It has a 10.28-megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor and while it does offer basic stills capability, it’s most definitely designed for video and Panasonic seems to be aiming it a rather specific type of customer....

When the iPhone X came along with its Portrait Lighting effects, a lot of people were very impressed. Apple was even claiming that you don’t need studio lighting at all anymore or any other fancy equipment. You just need your phone.
